What is the ideal moment for a 3D figurine?

Being pregnant and holding your baby in your arms are moments that fly by. A 3D figurine or plaster cast makes them tangible. But when is the best time to come by?

Pregnancy figurine: between 32 and 36 weeks

For a 3D image of your pregnant belly, the ideal period is between 32 and 36 weeks. Your belly is nicely round while you can still pose comfortably. With multiples it’s best to come from 28 weeks. The scan itself only takes a few minutes and is entirely safe for you and your baby.

Parent-and-child figurine: the first weeks after birth

An intimate image of you and your baby is best captured in the first weeks after birth, when your child is still very small and sheltered. Think of a feeding moment or a calm cuddle. Dad can have a figurine made with his child too.

Hand and foot casts: from birth

Small hands and feet change incredibly fast. A plaster cast is possible from birth and preserves this brief moment forever. Older brothers and sisters can have their cast made too.

Placenta figurine

Did you know that every placenta is as unique as a fingerprint? A placenta figurine is a special keepsake of the first connection between mum and baby. The placenta is kept in the fridge or freezer and must be fully thawed before the scan.
