Why choose a midwife?
Pregnancies are followed up well medically, and that matters. Yet something is sometimes still missing. That is exactly the part we add as a midwife.
More than medical follow-up
A midwife monitors the health of mum and baby, but pays equal attention to your wellbeing as a family. Pregnancy brings not only physical changes, but also emotional, mental and relational ones. That’s exactly where a midwife makes the difference: someone who is easy to reach, listens without judgement and guides you through all the questions and doubts.
A fixed, familiar face
At Juno you are followed by a fixed midwife from our team. So continuity and trust can grow, and you don’t have to tell your story over and over. We make sure you see at most two different midwives.
From pregnancy until one year after birth
Midwifery care doesn’t stop at the birth. We support you from the first weeks of pregnancy until your child’s first birthday: prenatal consultations, birth support, postnatal home visits, breastfeeding support and babywearing advice. One trusted team for the whole journey.
At home, at your own pace
We come to you, in your own familiar surroundings. That way we get to know you better and tailor the care to your situation. No waiting room, no rush: your midwife takes the time that’s needed.
Is it reimbursed?
As an (expectant) mum you are entitled to support from a midwife. We work as non-contracted midwives: on top of the statutory rate we charge a supplement, which is often (partly to fully) reimbursed via your hospitalisation insurance. You get the full price list from your midwife.
