Our team

Four letters, four midwives, one vision

JUNO is a team of midwives with one shared conviction: every woman deserves warm, personal support during one of the most intense, powerful and at the same time vulnerable periods of her life.

We are active in de Kempen (see our care region) and support you from a positive pregnancy test until your child’s first birthday. Within our team we stay in close contact and share knowledge, experience and insight. That way we keep refining and broadening our care, so we can always offer you the best possible support.

Vroedvrouw Laurine in een zonnebloemenveld

Midwife Laurine

There’s a good chance we’ll meet during one of the most special moments of your life. For you this is a new chapter; for me it’s exactly the work I choose with all my heart, day after day. It remains a privilege to be part of such an intimate and meaningful piece of your story.

To me, being a midwife is about so much more than medical care. It’s about bringing calm when everything feels new, listening without judgement and giving parents the confidence that they really can do it.

My career began in the hospital, where I worked on the maternity ward, the delivery room and neonatology. There I learned how important good care is, but I also discovered that I most love supporting families in their own familiar surroundings. From that conviction, Juno grew: a place where warm, personal care goes hand in hand with professional expertise.

Today I get to do what I love most every day: supporting families in a period that can be as beautiful as it is overwhelming. And every time I close your front door behind me, I hope I leave you with just a little more calm, trust and confidence as parents. Then I know my day has been a success.

And a little fact I’m secretly quite proud of? I already knew every colleague at Juno before they joined our team. As a midwife and/or placement mentor, our paths had crossed before. That we now get to support families together doesn’t feel like a coincidence, it just feels completely right. Welcome to Juno!

Vroedvrouw Eline in een zonnebloemenveld

Midwife Eline

Hello, I’m Eline. Partner of Lowie, mum of Violette, Dré and Richard, and together we live in Retie.

Funnily enough, midwife was already on my list after secondary school, but I didn’t dare take the step then. I chose a training in special needs education and worked for years with great pleasure in care for people with a disability. Yet the wish to become a midwife stayed somewhere in the background.

When I became a mum myself, everything changed. I discovered how incredibly powerful a woman and her body are. Pregnancy, giving birth and parenthood made a deep impression on me and I knew: this is what I want to be part of.

During my own pregnancy and postnatal period, Laurine supported me as a midwife. Her calm, knowledge and trust made such a difference that she inspired me to finally chase my dream. Four years later I graduated as a midwife. And the best part? At the home birth of our son, Laurine was once again by my side.

Today I get to support families myself during one of the most special periods of their lives. I want to be a midwife with whom you feel safe, dare to ask anything and can be entirely yourself. Someone who offers not only medical care, but also calm, trust and a listening ear.

I look forward to walking a little way alongside you in your story.

Vroedvrouw Loes in een zonnebloemenveld

Midwife Loes

I’m Loes. Born and raised in Weelde since 1993. There’s nothing I love more than supporting mums and dads through this intense, transforming rollercoaster called parenthood. Discovering what a new little family REALLY needs, helping them see how strong they are themselves and teaching them little extras where I can. That’s what I want to give myself to, day after day!

In 2015 I graduated as a midwife. Afterwards I gained experience in care at the university hospital in Antwerp and during those years also obtained my bachelor’s in nursing. I completed my own little family with 3 daughters. During that period I got to enjoy Laurine’s incredible support. Every time she came to visit me, a little flame in my midwife’s heart was kindled. What a wonderful job she has!

I survived the hectic early years. Life threw undeniable opportunities at my feet and the midwife in me kept calling ever louder, feel free to say shouting. So at the start of 2025, with great support from my partner, I took the leap to make my dream come true: becoming a self-employed midwife!

Vroedvrouw Liese in een zonnebloemenveld

Midwife Liese

Being a midwife is much more than a profession to me, it’s a true passion. I get so much fulfilment from supporting families during this intense and beautiful stage of life. I’m happy to help you with practical tips, correct information and above all with trust in your own strength.

I did my placement with Laurine, which only strengthened my passion for warm, personal care. I also keep training continuously and obtained a postgraduate degree in neonatology, giving me extra knowledge and experience in supporting premature babies and their parents.

Alongside my work as a midwife, I’m also the founder of Lovalie Belly & Baby, where I make 3D pregnancy figurines and hand and foot casts. In this way I want to create a tangible, lasting keepsake of this special time.
